Disk Space Usage

For cPanel versions 11.27/11.28

This feature allows you to view information about the disk space available to your website. At the top of the main screen is a graph displaying the basic disk usage information by directory in Megabytes, seen in the screenshot below. The graph shows you visually what directories use the most space on the server's hard drive.

Note: This feature does not include disk usage information for mailing list files, SQL databases, or any other files you own that exist outside of your home directory. However, all of these files still count against your disk quota.

Note: If you wish to view the individual files located in these folders and potentially delete them, you will need to use the File Manager feature, located on the main interface.

This interface also contains a navigation system. You can use this system to examine the items in your home directory in more detail.

• To sort the list of directories by name, select name.
• To sort the list of directories by disk usage, select disk usage.
• To show a directory's subfolders, click the + symbol to its left.
• To hide a directory's subfolders, click the - symbol to its left.
